During the summer months there is a regular programme of entertainment in Ferragudo centre in the evenings and plenty of cafes around the square to enjoy some refreshment at the same time!

Annual events in the Ferragudo area

• June - a week of Portuguese gastronomy at the Feiras e Exposições (Fairs and Exhibitions) park in Lagoa. Also arts and crafts exhibits and fun for all the family.
• June (2nd Sunday) - Festa de Santo António in Mexilhoeira da Carregação
• June - International Algarve Fair in Lagoa - everything for your home, garden and lifestyle. Children's entertainment, live music, fashion shows, food arena and more at the Fatacil Showground.
• July - Festival do Caracol (Snail festival) -a gastronomy festival in Porches
• July (1st or 2nd Sunday) - Festa de S. Francisco in Parchal
• August - FATACIL fair of Crafts, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry in Lagoa. Trade exhibitors and also lots of entertainment and fun for all the family. Live music, food, games and competitions.
• August (last Sunday) - Festa da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, the patron saint of Ferragudo
• September (1st Sunday) - Festa de Nossa Senhora das Dores e de S. Tiago in Estombar
• 8th September -Festa de Nossa Senhora da Luz - the patron saint of Lagoa- celebrations for the whole of the municipality of Lagoa.
